Corna di Fenere Outdoor Rock Climbing Gym
BRIEF DESCRIPTION
A large variegated calcareous agglomerate situated a few metres above the lake. The cliff is divided into three sectors and was fully equipped with resin-bonded lugs in 1996 and 1997 by Ugo Mariani, a pioneer of climbing in Valle Sabbia and now a much sought-after guide at medium altitudes.
The favourable location and south-est exposure of this site enable it to be climbed all year round, expert for the hottest time of day in summer. Easy access and the variety of different routes make this site very popular with the many foreing guests who come to the lake in the summ er.
Excellent facilities include route maps, signs, notice boards and picnic areas, all the work of Idro's Gruppo Sentieri Attrezzati (Equipped Routes Group). Altitude 385 m.
Access 
At Pieve di Idro, turn off the SS237 into the SP 58 and follow the signs to Crone di Idro and Vesta. Drive through Lemprato and crone and follow the panoramic road on along the eastern side of the lake as far as Vesta, Follow the numerous signs to the lively beach is an easy panoramic path that takes you straight up to the rock face (5 minutes).
